Minnesota Educational Theater Association Annual Awards
Theater Educator of the Year Award
In order to be eligible for this award the nominee must:
1. Have five years experience in an Elementary, Middle, or Secondary High School theater program, Collegiate Theater Department, or Theater Company Education Department
2. Active participation in professional development in theater education.
Nominations include the name and affiliation of the nominee as well as a statement of support for consideration.
Dedicated Lifetime Award
In order to be eligible for this award the nominee must:
1. Have minimum of 25 years in the field or be retired from a career spent in theater education in an Elementary, Middle School or Secondary theater program, a Collegiate Theater Department, and/or a Theater Company Education Department.
2. Continued involvement in support and enhancement of theater education.
Nominations include the name and affiliation/contact information of the nominee as well a statement of support for consideration.
All nominations should be submitted no later than June 1. Submissions should be sent to META President Gregg Sawyer at [email protected]. The META awards are presented annually at the CTAM Conference, held in September.
